Frequently asked questions
How many steres in a pallet?
We have several pallet formats. Find out more above.
Which species?
Our standard products contain a minimum of 95% of hardwood: oak, hornbeam, ash and beech.
Are you looking for specific types of wood (for cooking, for example)? Please contact us.
What is the humidity level?
Pallets and most of our products are generally sold as semi-dry wood: around 20 to 30% moisture content. Wood sold as «semi-dry» is often dry, but is not inspected.
If you want wood that is guaranteed to be dry, please buy iron boxes.
Is there a tarpaulin?
We can tarpaulin pallets if required. A supplement may apply. See our rates for more information.
Is it lost packaging?
Yes, pallets are always sold as non-returnable packaging, unlike iron boxes.
Note: we can buy back your empty pallets if you don't use them.
What is the best format?
It all depends on your preferences. The most popular format, especially for retailers, is the 2m³.
Some customers prefer the palette of 2,40m³ which is taller, to save floor space. However, this large pallet often weighs over a tonne, so some retailers can't handle it.
Other customers, such as supermarkets and shops, prefer smaller sizes of 1.20 or 1.65 m3.
